Die Weltbank hat die Wachstumsprognosen für Polen für dieses und das nächste Jahr angehoben. 2009 soll Polen ein Wachstum in Höhe von 1,1 Prozent gegenüber 0,5 Prozent (eine frühere Prognose) verzeichnen. 2010 sollte die polnische Volkswirtschaft dagegen um 1,2 Prozent wachsen gegenüber früher geschätzten 0,9 Prozent. Ausschreibung der Fördergelder für E-Projekte
Am 29. Oktober wurde die Ausschreibung für EU-Gelder für E-Projekte beendet. Anträge wurden von 2,8 Tausend Personen gestellt, die insgesamt Zuschüsse in Höhe von 1,8 Mrd. Zloty beantragt haben. Rückgang in der Leasingbranche immer geringer
Bis Ende September haben Leasingfirmen Einkäufe der Unternehmen in Höhe von 17 Mrd. gegenüber 25 Mrd. 2008 finanziert. Am 20. Oktober wurde die Zeichnung neuer Aktien der PKO BP beendet. Die Neuemission der Aktien war an die Altaktionäre gerichtet.
